A Tribute to my Dad - Freddie Cooley - Who went home to be with the Lord on the 28th of March 1997

I wanted to post this picture of my Dad and pay a small tribute to him. My Dad was a saved man and enjoyed telling people that he was saved. He was a great Father and husband who was devoted to his family and he showed great courage when he was sick.
He believed the bible and put it to use every day. I really am thankful for the blessing of having a Father who was saved and i look forward to seeing him again when I enter heaven.

1 Thessalonians 4:13,14,15,16,17,18 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

I would like to say a big thank you to the fox family for being such a blessing and encouragement to my husband and i while they were here on the mission field. Both my husband and I are grateful that the Lord sent this family as Missionaries to our Country because through God's providence we got saved as a result of this family's love to preach the Gospel. Praise the Lord for men and women that are willing to stand up for the cause of Christ. Oh and we miss you all.

We have recently took in 2 new lodger's in our home. My husband has wanted Lizard's for quite some time and so he bought Cocoa and Kong Long from Grace and Hannah. I copied the picture from Three sisters blog - This one is of Kong Long when Grace first got him. He is a lot bigger now believe me. They are nice to look at but not to hold - well for me anyway.
