Update....

I figured since it's been a while i had better post something. I trust you are all doing well.

The world is celebrating the Easter holidays now and are supposed to be celebrating the Resurrection of Christ when all it is, is an excuse for people to drink alcohol.
I wonder how many churches will be telling their congregation the reason that Christ died on the cross??? Will they tell the people the good old Gospel story of our Saviour??

Sadly many don't and that is why it's important that we as Christians do our job and tell people of a Saviour who loves and died for them. If we don't then we are saying no to God when he has commanded us to do so. Unfortunately I as a christian have told the Lord no on more than one occasion when he has told me to witness to someone and the holy spirit has convicted me for failing the Lord. It is not a nice feeling and i wouldn't want it for anyone. It's much easier just to say yes and the Lord will bless you for it and someones soul may be saved because they heard the gospel. I am reminded of the following hymn:

Rescue the perishing,
Care for the dying,
Snatch them in pity from sin and the grave;
Weep o'er the erring one,
Lift up the fallen,Tell them of Jesus the mighty to save.
***
Rescue the perishing,
Care for the dying;
Jesus is merciful,
Jesus will save.
***
Though they are slighting Him,
Still He is waiting,Waiting the penitent child to receive;
Plead with them earnestly,
Plead with them gently;
He will forgive if they only believe.
***
Down in the human heart,
Crushed by the tempter,
Feelings lie buried that grace can restore;
Touched by a loving heart,
Wakened by kindness,
Chords that are broken will vibrate once more.
***
Rescue the perishing,
Duty demands it;
Strength for thy labor the Lord will provide;
Back to the narrow way, Patiently win them;
Tell the poor wand'rer a Savior has died.

Very thoughtful post. We are here to tell others about Jesus Christ Our Saviour and I hope that I am better at that with each day that passes. There are so many lost out in the world that need a good witness. Thankyou, connie from Texas
